6 Confetti Moments That Aren't the Grand Exit

6 Confetti Moments That Aren't the Grand Exit

The grand exit is the classic for a reason. But if you're only using confetti once, you're leaving some great photos on the table.

Here are a few other moments where a toss goes a long way.

1. Walking back up the aisle

You just got married. Walk out into a shower of it. This is our favourite one, and it's the shot most couples end up framing.

2. The grand entrance at the reception

Have the bridal party toss it as you're announced. It sets the tone for the rest of the night.

3. The bridal party photo

Everyone throws at once, the photographer takes a burst, and you end up with at least one frame where everybody looks amazing. (And several where they don't. That's part of the fun.)

4. The first dance

Save a small bag for the last chorus. Guests on the edge of the dance floor toss it in, and you get a moment that looks straight out of a movie.

5. The cake cutting

A little sprinkle while you make the first cut. Keep it light and away from the cake itself, unless you like your dessert with extra fibre.

6. Engagement or bridal shower photos

A great way to test it out before the big day, and you get cute photos out of it.

Planning more than one toss?

Use our Confetti Calculator for the main moment, then add a small bag for each extra one.
