Wait, It Just… Melts? How Our Confetti Disappears

If you've seen our videos, you've probably had the same reaction as everyone else: "Hold on. Where did it go?"

Short answer: it melted. Long answer is below.

What it's made of

Our confetti is 100% rice paper. No plastic, no metallic coating, nothing that sticks around for years in the grass after your big day.

Why it disappears

Rice paper breaks down when it gets wet. A little rain, a garden hose, or even damp grass is enough to make it dissolve. That's why it can look so pretty floating through the air one minute and be gone the next.

Why that matters on your wedding day

  • Venues say yes more often. A lot of venues ban traditional confetti because of the cleanup. Rice paper that dissolves in water is a much easier sell.
  • No one's on sweeping duty. Your bridal party has enough to do.
  • It still photographs beautifully. It falls slowly, which gives your photographer more time to catch the moment.

A quick note

Every venue has its own rules, so it's always worth checking with your coordinator before the day. Tell them it dissolves in water. That usually does the trick.
